Time & Again
Collage & Poetry by Kathy Cotton
Felting
Yesterday:
a hand-knit
sweater
of fading wool,
hot-water washed,
every thread
tight and
spaceless,
substance shrunk
five sizes.
Yesterday:
too small
to wear today.

TimeEnough
All the sixties
tick into
twenty-fours
and another
will be gone
before long.
But if you start
now,
there is time
enough
to look for
beautiful things.
If you start now,
there is time.
